20 GOLDEN GRATES
This time next month we will be releasing our Greatest Hits compilation ’20 Golden GRATES’ as a (very) limited edition CASSETTE! It’ll feature hit after hit after hit, and come with a free mp3 download link so you can put it on your modern computers too. Full details of how to order it will be in the next edition of the newsletter.

We’ll be selling copies at our gig on Saturday 5 May with A Little Orchestra, where there’ll be two sets - the first will see The Validators performing some of our aforementioned hits in an acoustical style, and the second will feature us and A Little Orchestra performing together.

JOHN DREDGE & THE PLINTHS
The latest song from our debut EP to be given the video treatment is ‘Learn to Ignore’, which was released yesterday and is available to enjoy right now, right HERE:

AND FINALLY
My novel ‘Storm House’ has been longlisted for the Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition, which is very exciting indeed. This is the second time it’s got onto the longlist for a children’s fiction award, so I suppose I’m going to have to accept that it’s not the hard-hitting adult science fiction blockbuster I thought it was!

And I think that's about enough for this month - thanks for reading and see you next time!

Cheers,

Mark
